Feb 5th

Have you heard this news of a 13 year old verbally committing to USC? What is going on here? This kid hasn't even graduated middle school... yet knows where he wants to play college football. This is utter insanity...what's wrong with this kid or his parents? He needs to focus on enjoying his High School years and looking forward to getting his permit, not where he thinks he wants to play football in 5 years. We can't believe Kiffin and USC are pulling this stunt, this is outrageous, who the hell does Kiffin think he is? Who knows what this kid will even be like in 5 years from now, this kid hasn't even passed algebra yet... Kiffin needs to get a grip.

What is Gilbert Arenas thinking these days...bringing his call of duty arsenal into the locker room. We get it Arenas, you think your bigger than life. But if you want to gamble do it on your own time, don't let it overflow into the locker room. You just got your huge $120 million dollar deal and have disappeared. We guess you'd rather concentrate your efforts on your sports touting abilities, rather than try to win an NBA championship.

Feb 1st

Have you watched a professional soccer match lately? Well we did today and remembered why we don't watch unless it's the World Cup. The match today between Sunderland and Stoke City was the most boring thing we've ever watched. The game ended 0-0. It was pathetic the way neither team could even build up an attack...we witnessed a total of just 3 cornerkicks the entire game. Soccer is just getting awful - why did ESPN even put this game on TV? We'd rather watch a High School basketball practice, or the Kansas City Royals play a baseball game. This is why soccer will never be big in the USA. The U.S. likes sports that have entertainment and scoring involved. Even though some matches are exciting and we see some great goals. Games like these however at least give us a chance to get a nap in.
